Juniper Networks was started in 1996 with the goal of taking over the high-performance networking world. Ten years later Juniper Networks sidestepped all the competition and took the number two spot right behind Cisco. They hold 21.8% of service provider, 29% of high-end enterprise routing, and 38.2% of core and edge routing markets!
